The 2027 Accommodations Tax Grant Application must be submitted electronically, in complete form, through the Town of Hilton Head Island Website no later than 4 pm on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Application Process
The ATAX Grant is a competitive funding program that operates on an annual cycle. Specific dates are published each year when the ATAX Grant application becomes available on the Town's website.
- Application window opens July 1, 2026.
- Mandatory applicant workshops will be held July 7, 2026, at 9 am and July 9, 2026 at 5 pm.
- Required electronic submission through the Town's online application by July 31, 2026, 4 pm deadline.
- Application eligibility and completeness review by staff.
- Review and applicant presentations before the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee (ATAC).
- Presentations are scheduled for September 3 and 10, 2026.
- Each applicant will be notified by the email listed on the application of their specific scheduled presentation time.
- ATAC recommendation to the Finance & Administrative Committee.
- Finance & Administrative Committee Committee recommendation to Town Council.

Applications submitted without requested attached documents may be deemed incomplete and not considered for funding.
